Yeah, I found a 7% at the store so I bought it. It says 1X which is 1/10th dilution, so, effectively .7% which is at least nearly a percent. Traumeel is 3X = 1/1000 so I am more skeptical of that!

You could order one online with 7% arnica listed (I picked this one for the vast number of reviews) or skip it. I really don't want you to get anything you are mistrustful of.

Here's the same study with the amount of arnica listed (50 g tincture/100 g, DER 1:20) though I don't understand the measurements.

But Traumeel has basically no arnica in it! http://saveyourself.ca/articles/reality-checks/traumeel.php This is the problem with homeopathic remedies. The study you mention doesn't say what the arnica concentration is in the gel they tested.

We don't have Whole Foods here, and the natural foods store I went to (there are others here I didn't check at) only has Traumeel and other homeopathic crap.

Lol, what a cynic! No, I'm the same way with homeopathic, and this stuff says it, but it works! It is working. Today I woke up with only a momentary twinge of stiffness, and I've had this thing for weeks and weeks! Plus I ran on it yesterday after a week off, which you'd think would exacerbate it, not have it feeling better.

All the gels are 7% active ingredient (there's one that's 8%) and the box I have pictured (what I bought) is Whole Foods brand, so nothing fancy. More well-known ones would be Traumeel and Aniflora (I think that's the one with 8%). Google it girl. You'll find this study and accounts about it being a staple in sports medicine first aid kits.
