I thought I posted this already, but my mouse went crazy, so I got sidetracked by hardware replacement.
Anyway, just a little teaser. 3:51:44! Eh, it wasn’t 3:45, but still a BQ with a nice bit of padding. As the tale will out, I am thrilled with that time, considering I was doubled-over as I crossed the finish.
Bet you wonder what the hell happened, doncha?
More to come soon…

Can’t wait to hear the rest. Congrats Flo!!
Watch out Boston here comes Fishpie..
YAY FLO!
Congratulations. That sound you can hear is us all breathing out. Take your time over the report. I’m sure it’s going to be a classic of the genre.
You’re a marathoner now.
you look sexy in a wheelchair baby
hot dog!!!
Wow, congrats! Can’t wait to hear the rest!
Flo, Congratulations Woman! Your report will be well worth the wait. I can’t wait to hear all about it. YOU ARE GOING TO BOSTON BABY!!!! Nice work you marathoner, you.
Congrats girl! Boston bound baby! I knew you could do it!
Judging by your’s and DP’s comments, you did it in dramatic fashion too. Can’t you do anything the easy way? Or are you more concerned about providing your readers with as much cliff-hanging race drama as possible. ;-?
Seriously, great job! I can’t wait to read all the details.
Kat
Congrats on the BQ!!
Had to leave us in suspense didnt ya.
YAY!!!!!!!!!! Knew you would (not *could* but *WOULD*) do it! Can’t wait for the report! Congrats on being a BQ’er on your first try!!!! You rock! (and aren’t you glad you ignored the forumite who said to adjust your goal to 4:00:00?)
NOOOOOO you can’t do this to us! You’re such a cock tease, Flo.
I haven’t been on your blog in a few weeks and I was out biking tonight and all of a sudden I realized your race was today. So, of course I jumped right on here when I got home. What a tremendous accomplishment to have run a BQ right out of the gate the first time. I’m jealous!!!! I’m just nicely getting back from my terrible hamstring injury. I did however run a half two weeks ago after only having trained as much as a 7 mile long run. (Dr. said to go for it!) Can’t wait to hear the rest of your report, I hope you don’t keep us waiting too long!!!
Enjoy basking in your glory, you soooooo deserve it my dear!
Yay, Flo!!! Awesome job! Congratulations! I will try to wait patiently for the details.
I guess you can add “Marathon” to that PR list in the right hand column now! (DP – wheelchair??)
This has been a great journey to run with you Flo, and of course we’re not quite done yet. I’m hoping the next phase will be as fun, whichever races you aim at.
I’ve been waiting all day for a report.. get to it.. and make it snappy.
I can’t tell you how excited I am for you.. I thought about you several times today. I was hoping you didn’t end up in a hospital again.. Way to go!.. You effin rock.
I’ve been lurker on your blog but just wanted to say congrats on the race and BQ! I almost ran Steamtown but opted for the Wineglass Marathon instead. Missed the BQ by 4 minutes, but oh well, there is next time.
Hopefully, you are now resting, rescovering, and giving your body a good massage :-)
Flo,
Congrats on a fine first marathon! I got out of bed just to check on your website. I guess I will have to check back tomorrow!
You guys are fantastic!! Cracking me up all which ways: from drama to cock teasing to getting out of bed to read the dirt.
And a lurker unlurks! Excellent.
It only took me a whole bunch of hours to put down my thoughts and that’s how long it’ll take you to read the report…it’s really long. It’s a marathon of a report. Yuck, yuck, I’m so punny.
