pretty. not as pretty as you (isn't it almost time to change your website cover photos? my personal fave is the abs pic from when you first lost the weight and showed your pecs...), but pretty.
run really fast.

I've had no problems in racing flats -- Asics Magic Racer are my last two pairs -- up the HMs. I'll wear them in my next marathon. I also wear them for speedwork.

There is something magical about racing flats.

Jim, big ow on that tale, thanks for sharing! So true about the experiment of one. Just wish a failed experiment didn't mean we end up hurting, but there's no way around that can of worms.

Laboratory of one, and all that. The first time I wore lightweight shoes for a half, I celebrated my PR in the medical tent with a hemorrhage in my foot. That was good news, since I thought it was a stress fracture (but ran on anyway). I still wear those shoes (Asics lightweight trainers) for shorter races, and am on the lookout for something else to try. So - listen to your feet, not the sales blurb.
Those Pumas look nifty. Looking forward to your review.

yea, the old DS 13s were lighter. They made the 14s a bit beefier and people say they are more like the 12s. I ran my last marathon in the 14s so they're more like a trainer now than even a lightweight trainer. I may want to try the elixirs, I think I'm ready to move outa the anchors that are 2140s

Doggie...you sure those are 7.6 oz? Runningwarehouse says Ladies Size 7 is 8.4 oz. My Elixirs are 7.8 oz. for size 7 (9.1 oz in my size).
