I am finally getting around to catching up on my blog reading and leaving comments. First of all, love the pics! I've run on that path and you are so lucky to have that nearby.

Don't beat yourself up about paces. We all have good days and bad days. And then there are the just blah days. Sounds like a good workout though. I've done that age grading to make myself feel better, too. I agree with Ewen, you've got lots more PB's tucked away as you work your way up the AG ladder.

I love your pics and special the "Me happy" pic!.
Nice to run there and looks a litle on " het Amsterdamse bos" (park and wood near Amsterdam).
I thing you are younger and you looks more 38.
Good running and a lot of snow.
Thanks for your respons on my Bemore movie run and you can see on the movie no snow, but now Wednesday a day later 5 cm snow!!!.
I begin to hate snow and now 7 weeks cold and most time snow and not good for running.
Next time better and more sun and heat..

Good work Flo and nice blog to read, even for the dutch Rinusrunning ;-).

It's only a mile to the park, so not far at all.

I know what you're saying about the age-corrected results and the fact that it's like X:XX doesn't make it be that, so you're right not to pay too much attention to it. Though it does come in handy when you're comparing yourself to all those younger cats and feeling a little "less than" (if you ever do that).

And there is no doubt in my mind you will get that sub3, Jim. You're on your way.

Nice pics, Flo. That does look like a nice running path. Do you have to run far to get there? As for Boston, do your worrying early and use it to focus on what's needed (hills, etc). You'll be fine.
I like the thought of continuing to improve for a few years. We started about the same time. It does seem that we have to work harder for those PRs now. The age thing is double edged. Sometimes I like to look at my age-corrected results, but mostly I try to ignore it because of the implied limits. OK, so I'm equivalent to a sub-3 marathon, but I sure would like to do it for real someday.
