Just got back from 14 on a gloriously beautiful day, 60 degrees!! It’s been months since we had that. After yesterday’s tempo, my legs were a little pooped, so I tried to keep it slow. Semi-successful at 8:51 avg. It was my longest run since the marathon in Oct. (been consistently doing 12s and 13s for my LR ) so that was cool.
People were out in droves today, even the trail was busy, which was fun since I enjoy people-watching so much. I did notice a lot of smiling on my way back and I was sure that they were admiring my uncomparable runnerly body silently slicing through the sunny Sunday air.
Until I got home, passed a mirror in the hallway and realized I was sporting two perfectly circular dark sweat spots, each centered squarely over a boob. Look at me! Look at me! How mortifying. Stupid UA faux cotton shirts.

oh baby you so hot!
Nothing to be embarased about. Could happen to anyone.
Of course most guys could care less.
So the weather’s getting warmer over your way, I take it. We guys who run know that our lady friends can sweat in all sorts of interesting places, but we try not to stare (very much). We would too, if we wore our clothing tight like you.
That’s funny. I HATE that.
Yeah, they’re just remembering the last time that happened to them! Ha.
Just draw a wide “U” along your midriff, and you can smile right back.
I have the same problem, so now I know which shirts are “safe” to wear in hot weather.
Haha I just read this and wanted to confirm when I passed you Sunday I did not notice your boob sweat! (This is Drexel-girl by the way) However, I too did get a lot of those smiles and before I convinced myself it was just the weather I was kinda paranoid I had some strange sweat spots/ something stuck to me that was drawing the attention. But anyway, amazing how one springlike day and the number on Kelly Drive multiples by ten!
Heya Christine! This is hilarious yet very relieving to know you didn’t notice it because my little circles would have been in full swing by the time I saw you.
And wow, you ain’t kidding, that was one busy day out there! Here’s to more fabulous days on Kelly Drive! (without the wet boobage for me).
