That Lara, she’s the cycling chick extraordinaire. You thought her marathon stories were great…ask her about her huge cycling trip up north last year, it makes a marathon sound like a 5K! What a sportif!

Sorry Matt, didn’t do any baking before the movie but that would have been a good idea since they were chasing us out of the restaurant before we even got a chance to order dessert! Don’t worry, I’ll bake something for a post-race treat at some point. Not this weekend though, no 10K for me. I’ll be out breaking in my new road bike. I’m not like all you kids run run running all the time…gotta mix it up! I only run 3 times a week if I’m lucky and that’s just cause Flo convinced me to run our anniversary 5K and this time I decided to run more than 10 times before the race.

Aha! A witness to the frivolity of partydom! Not to mention one super swell baker (you guys would die for Lara’s meringue cookies, tastebud orgasms were heard 5 blocks away).

Yeah, that salami was/is good. My shameless mantra through the evening for that and anything else that was complimented on foodwise was “Trader Joes!” I should buy stock in that place.

Speaking of, I heard they’ve got a special on headcheese this week, one free wiener with every purchase.

Sorry, no witty comments on deli meats to share but for the record that salami was damn good. I’m surprised there’s any left considering how much of it I ate at the FABULOUS party! Yes, I was a lucky one who got to attend and can confirm ms flo’s friends are fab & we all had an amazing time thanks to our hostess with the mostest!

But wait, what’s this…losing 6 pounds on the salami diet? Sign me up!

I actually haven’t had headcheese but it qualifys has a meat cause it actualy has meat in it. Well sort of. I think I watch too much Discovery or History channel at time. After seeing how some deli meats are made would make you think twice about eating them. Mincemeat is not actually meat.

Lol, good point about catching you first. Might have to trick you by threading some salami on a string and having you chase it till you’re in a pounce-able position. Also good point about Speedy Babe, if she wins first O.A. I’ll let you live.
