I see there have been a huge amount of blog visitors these last couple days waiting for the dirt. I apologize but it’s been a crazy weekend of party and race fun, while all of today and evening was spent in planes and airports, then tomorrow morning I have a job and an audition plus headbands to make and errands to do so I’m trying to get it done but bear with me. At least there will be tons of photos to make up for the long wait.
I am pleased as punch with the race, my time was 1:35:57 which was a happy surprise. It was a tough course and a few things happened during the race, so expect an eventful report. That, coupled with 3 days of love, friendship and margaritas has me grinning ear to ear. I’ll try to get it written tomorrow but it might even be Wednesday. Again, sorry for the delay.

No need to be sorry Flo. I looked it up yesterday — had to sort through the numerous ‘Karps’ though ;-) Thought 1:35 (Geb calls his 2:03:59 a 2:03) was a great time for a hill wimp. Well done! Looking forward to the gory details.
Welcome home! We can wait, really we can…
Congrats on a great race Flo! You are still my running hero!
mmmhmmm not a tease at all
can’t wait for the report!hope you had a margarita for me
That WAS a great time. You also did very well in the Age-Grade competition. It took forever for them to get the results posted…might be one reason why your site traffic was through the roof. People checked the Carlsbad site, then your site….back n’ forth, back n’ forth…!
Guilty! Can’t wait to read the scoop!
“Real Feel” temp was 3F on Sunday morning with breath taking winds along the river by the boathouses. Sure wish I was where you were! Congrats on the race and looking forward to the report…
