Hey folks, I hope you’re having a lazy running stuffing your face day today.
I’m feeling much better since my prior pity party post. The proverbial glass is more than half-full today, I’d say it’s around 14/16ths.
Just had a great run 6@8:32. Felt amazing. There were lots of people walking around the park after the parade, smiling like crazy and enjoying the day. Completely infectious. Then I come home to Nick cutting up leeks and making the house smell great. My job is to vacuum and wipe a few surfaces…I am so spoiled.
Anyway, I hope you Turkey Trotters out there leave me word of how great you did, I want to spread some applause around.
Happy Turkey Day all!

Enjoy Thanksgiving.
I got my 1st run in since Sunday’s marathon, and it felt great!
Happy Thanksgiving. Will fill out a race report later, I probably should of stayed home.
Yay Flyers! What a great day to get back on the road. I just checked out the photos from the marathon on your blog, very nice, I especially love those George Constanza jackets! Just wish I’d seen the front of you rather than the back that day, but at least I got a glimpse.
Congrats again on a great race!
Bruce, I posted on your blog, but I have to say that picture is hilarious.
Everyone who’s not Bruce, check out his blog (click his name on his comment) to see a fight to the finish or the runner version of the Rockettes. The lady almost looks like she’s trying to knock your friend off the road. Too funny.
Glad you’re feeling better, Flo! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving with plenty of good eats! =D
I posted on Bruce’s blog too. I got a touch of ‘flu this past couple of days (but ran anyway) so I can relate. It’s pretty much gone now, thank you. Hope you all had a good thanksgiving!
I am still recovering from my calf injury from the SA 1/2 marathon but had a pretty good Turkey Trot. The course we have to run is probably one of the hillier portions of Colorado Springs so we never go in expecting to PR. This is all about getting in a workout before all the great food. Bruce, I am sorry about your cold. Flo glad to see you are feeling better and enjoying the holiday! Happy T-Day everyone!!!!
Heya Kai, hope you had (actually, I know you had) some great eats yourself. I thought about you when I watched Top Chef this week and a contestant had a “Bacon Is A Vegetable” t-shirt on.
Jim, sorry to hear you weren’t feeling so great but relieved to hear you’re better already…CIM is just days away! I’m getting super excited for you.
Christi, congrats on the Turkey Trot despite that ole calf of yours and the hilly course. Sounds like it behaved long enough for a morning of fun. Yay!
